
Construction architects have obtained an education in construction engineering as well as in building design or urban planning. The work of construction architects requires creativity, ability to perceive and manage entities, and good cooperation skills with the different parties of construction work.
The education of construction architects at polytechnics has been brought to a halt for the time being, but the graduated construction architects continue to work as members of planning groups in architectural offices, as municipality and state employees and independent entrepreneurs.
Construction architects can continue their studies in other higher education institutions in Finland as well as abroad.
